The Lefties

The Lefties are a 3 piece psychedelic experience from Detroit, and have shared the stage with local favorites like The Erers and Willa Rae. Even supported national touring acts like Black Pistol Fire. The Lefties have certainly progressed past the early basement demos and have found their own dreamy psych sound full of stylistic hints from My Bloody Valentine and Brian Jonestown Massacre. The Lefties draw their primary influence from 60’s psych and garage bands like Gandalf, The Stooges and The MC5. Despite a shoegazing wash The Lefties create a memorable sonic atmosphere with interlocking parts that swim to the ear. No matter the audience, The Lefties can provide a pleasurable “garage-trip” experience. Groovy psychedelic rock band based around Detroit, Michigan.
