Cybertrybe

They began as “Industrial Chaos” in 1994 as a “non-band” techno/industrial project but quickly developed into a full blown band and live act just a year later. Also came the name change to CYBERTRYBE. After playing out in Metro Detroit for a year in 1997, they were nominated for a Detroit Music Award and won 3 the following year in 1998. CYBERTRYBE has been nominated every year since. In 2001, CYBERTRYBE, after appearing in several local and international compilations CDs, released the LP “Trust in Myths”. Trust in Myths quickly became popular locally and in other countries. “I Want You” a track off the LP received a lot of primetime radio air play in several states and in Europe. “The Fish Song” has also gained popularity in high schools and has become a cult hit in the local area and is always chanted at the end of they’re shows. In the last few years and after many member changes, CYBERTRYBE has grown into a massive live act and has caught the attention of many fans and is now known for its shows as well as its music. CYBERTRYBE members have chemistry on stage, and the mentality to treat each and every show as a concert, playing to entertain the crowd and always show them something they haven’t seen in a local or unsigned band. Not only has the stage show grown but so has the music. Starting out as a strictly industrial/electronica band, CYBERTRYBE now has its own sound; think cutting edge synths, heavy guitars, pounding bass, spectacular drums and heavy but melodic male and female vocals. In the last year the band has exploded. CYBERTRYBE is now playing mostly as a headlining act or opening for Nationals in larger venues and in huge music festivals. 2010 Detroit Music Award recipient for Outstanding Industrial Group. 2011 Best Electronic and Dance Recording! 2012 Best Electronic and Dance Artist - Best Electronic and Dance Recording!
