Los Angeles, CA \ A&R @ Lingo Recordings Juwan is a Midwest house music innovator, now living in Los Angeles, pushing all across the map with his solid mixing abilities & exclusive track selection. He has his hands in underground producer's catalogs, as well as pulling from his own outfit of house music. Juwan is known for his well rounded & unique musical selection. In the early 90's, he started playing his own parties & would perform for hours on end just for the thrill of it. People started to gain interest & he found himself playing at local spots around his hometown of Michigan City, Indiana. A year later, a friend took him to Chicago to play at a few underground loft parties. Playing tracks from the likes of Derrick Carter, Romanthony, Blaze, Stacy Kidd, Cricco Castelli, Cassius, & Bob Sinclar, these influences all turned into the building blocks for him to cement himself as an influential part of house music today. He is now the A&R manager of Lingo Recordings & has done work on various labels such as: Dustpan Recordings, Openbar Music, Cabbie Hat, HAWT Music Los Angeles, Doin' Work Records, Moody House Recordings & U-KNOW-Y. In a short period of time, Juwan has become a major part of the underground dance scene in Los Angeles & is a resident of Comm❤unity. Juwan is also the other half of Fresh Laces with Darwin Flores in Los Angeles. Able to pull from his extensive, diverse knowledge of music, he has developed a funky sound all his own. Juwan's sets are a one-of-a-kind experience; no matter what your musical preference is, he always finds that emotional harp string & plucks it.
