Smokey Folk

Smokey Folk is comprised of seven members Jeff Johnson, Drew Beine, Payton Easley, David Pyck, Warren Dietzel and Rob Storms. Ranging from classical to bluegrass to country to rock backgrounds, Smokey Folk takes pride in writing producing and recording all of their own songs from their home studio in Springfield Missouri. Smokey Folk was formed in the summer of 2013 by lead man Jeff Johnson. Instruments used for performances and recordings include, cello, piano, guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, ukelele, flute, and a variety of vocal structures aimed at adding depth and volume to all of the tunes. All performances are one of a kind, and the theatrics are never in short supply. While a genre is often helpful for newcomers to get an idea of what Smokey Folks sound is like, all members strongly feel that all of their songs cover a wide range of genres from Vampire Rock, to Pop Jazz and Euro Rock.
