Chaek Sylla and the Afreekhankings

Cheikh Yussufa Sylla aka Chaek Sylla is an independent solo artist who writes, performs, records, and mixes. His style is heavily based in rock and blues, but he experiments with alternative, punk rock, and jazz as well.
He was also a guitar and bass player in the band of Geoffrey Oryema, and this experience leads him to record and play along with Tony Levin, Pino Palladino, Manu Katché among many others.
Sasha Gordeev has a long history of collaborations in the music industry those last thirty years , he was also playing with Geoffrey Oryema, and beyond music a solid friendship was born.
