The PAP energy on stage is incredible and quickly moves through the crowd. The show was invigorating. I’m looking forward to the next!

About PAO Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra
Music was invented/discovered. About 60000 years passed and these Nigerian geniuses Fela and Tony came to LA and fell in love with Black American Music, so they fused it with High Life and Yoruba rhythms to create Afrobeat. The better part of 50 years later, a bunch of Phoenicians began playing Afrobeat. A little after that, you started listening. Then you started dancing. What happens next?
"If there is ultimately some kind of peaceful transition to more generous forms of social organization, music--and improvised music in particular--will play an important role in this process, as it has done in the past." --Frederic Rzewski
