Tanisha

Tanisha is an R&B/Alternative artist from Toronto, Canada. The development of her unique, atmospheric sound is a result of various musical influences. Joining the Toronto Children’s Concert choir (TC3) at the age of twelve, Tanisha found an intense hunger for singing. Performing with the choir from 2008-2012, serving as their Alto Section leader and touring to the Bahamas as one of the choir’s main soloists. TC3 was a huge part of Tanisha’s development as an artist. After coming off of tour and graduating from the choir in 2012, Tanisha went on to perform as an independent artist at various open mic and community events across the GTA. Also being seen as a support vocalist for other local artists. At the age of eighteen, Tanisha had already performed live on such stages as MOD Club as apart of Phem Phat’s 2013 Honey Jam showcase, Hard Rock cafe (Toronto), and Phoenix Concert Theatre as apart of the opening act for Grammy award winner, Melanie Fiona.

Completing Canada Music Incubators Artist Entrepreneur program summer of 2015, Tanisha continued to sharpen her musicianship, while growing her social media platforms. The songwriter in Tanisha has allowed her to collaborate in writing, vocal producing/arranging with producers, engineers and artists alike. In March 2016, Tanisha debuted 4 new songs “Therapy” feat Kayo, “Nah (The Anthem)”, “Bloom”, “Frozen” feat Junior Ahh. Followed by a bonus track “Escape You” featuring Yuri Koller. The singles released to Soundcloud, Itunes/Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify, Google Play and all other online digital stores.
