About Elektrochemie

Elektrochemie is the collaboration of producer and DJ Thomas Schumacher, producer Stephan Bodzin and vocalist Caitlin Devlin. Thomas met Caitlin in her native Australia in 2001. Since moving to Germany she has worked as a guest vocalist on the Elektrochemie project, and she and Thomas have toured live extensively over the past two years. Long time friend and respected musician Stephan came on board at the beginning of 2005. The instant easy chemistry of the three infuses their work, a product of their shared enthusiasm for music and natural understanding of what they like. The collective has now joined the Get Physical family where they have released 3 EPs:
"Pleasure Seeker" 2005, "Don't Go" 2006 y "Mucky Star EP" en 2007.

Their new EP "Get Yourself" will be released in mid December. A record of contradictions - of coldness and warmth, distance and intimacy, lightness and weight. However, across its four tracks, certain qualities are unwavering: sexiness, subtlety, precision and power. Get yourself into it.
