About Diet Pill

“You’re driving too slow, It’s making me sick. What the hell are you waiting for?”
Moto, Diet Pill (2010)

Diet Pill – a riot grrrl brand from Russia, formed back in 2005 by the group of friends: Jannet – Drums, Olga – Bass, Tamara - Guitar. The name “Diet Pill” was taken as an inspiration from the legendary L7 song. With the first show in 2006, the band rocked the stages of Russia, touring all around the country and released the first full-length album “Diet Pill” in 2010. The release featured 11 tracks, included most famous “Moto”; “Unhuman” and “Its Time to Leave this Town”.

Inspired by 90-s grunge and 70-s garage rock, girls focused on delivering true emotions on stage. They claimed the world may be not as good as it is portrayed. It may hurt, really hurt and hit hard.

“No hope. No Fear. No pain. No Love. No need to pretend that everything is great” Unhuman, Diet Pill (2010)
