Joe Macey

Joe Macey has been entertaining New England audiences for nearly four decades. As one of this areas most celebrated performers, he remains at the top of the list as one of the very best singer & guitarists found anywhere in the Northeast. Joe grew up playing in rock bands performing at high school dances, private parties and local town functions. During that time period, he studied guitar and voice. As years passed, he became more experienced in various styles of music. He grew into country music during the early 80's, and the rest is history. Macey experienced success in the regional country music scene playing with his own band and several other short term fill in projects. In 1995 he moved to Nashville TN. to enhance his country music career. While living there he wrote his first CD entitled " Lonsesome Rider " recorded on Music Row at Studio C, which has sold over 14,000 units worldwide, and to this day, remains his signature original tune. He has over twenty national show openings to his credit , and remains one of the very few to have opened shows for three country legends, George Jones, Waylon Jennings and Charlie Daniels.
