Plato

(1) Plato is a project by Mijk van Dijk, Plato is doing what Mijk van Dijk used to do in the early 90s. He started out as a producer of hard techno records, later in 1992 he paved the way for melodic techno sounds and has been a pioneer for a new sound called trance. In those days he wrote tunes like Marmion’s Schoeneberg and Microglobe’s High on Hope, Environ-mentality and All Our Colours, that became classics of techno.

(2) Plato was an ancient Greek philosopher, the second of the great trio of ancient Greeks –succeeding Socrates and preceding Aristotle – who between them laid the philosophical foundations of Western culture.
