Wise Eyes

Wise Eyes is more that two words written on the underside of a white Stetson cowboy hat, or two words printed on a sticker placed on the higest point on the lightpole outisde the SIdebar. Wise Eyes is a collective of four musicians who strive to create a sound, brand, and attitude that creates a sense of positivity and fun wherever it is seen or heard. The line­up as it stands as of this writing is Sean Mo on the guitar and lead vocal duties, Brett Setera on the lead guitar with the vocals here and there, Alex Wolsky on the bass guitar and backing vocals, and Tyler "Dragon" Setera on drums and percussion. The origins of the band can be traced back to the summer of 2010 when Sean discovered the Old Bowie Town Grille open mic night. He began to play songs he had spent the previous year writing on acoustic guitar with friend and founding drummer Jay D. After a month or so of performing as a duo the two recruited friend and founding
bass guitarist Evan Ruhl to join and soon after followed Brett to round out the original line­up. This group would go on to play shows locally on a regular basis leading up to the 2011 release of the bands debut EP "The One". The four track EP was recieved well amongst the groups fanbase and led to more opportunies for Wise Eyes. The band was able to embark and numerous reigonal and national tours both on their own and with the support of One Koast Entertainment and found themselves supporting other successful acts such as Pasadena, Arden Park Roots, and Bumpin' Uglies. With countless live performances under their belt and years of tighting up their songs the group decided it was time to record their first full length. The LP "Tribe" was released in 2014 and
served to spearhead a national tour that took the group across the continental United States in
support of the record. Along with touring the group has played numerous music festivals such as Frozen Harbor, MILFest, Fallout, Campdown, etc. After the addition of Tyler and Alex to replace the departed Jay and Evan, the group began work on their latest album which has yet to be named and is slated for release sometime in the spring/summer of 2016. Wise Eyes has always been known for delivering high energy and passion wether it be in live performace or recording.
