Likened by triple j to "shades of Kanye West & Childish Gambino", his conceptually rich work unapologetically provides a unique voice for the Middle Eastern community as he reflects on his heritage in the context of the Western world.

Kid Pharaoh’s creative force shone in 2022 with the release of "Sand Monkey" - a depiction of the experience of a Middle Eastern creative in the Australian music industry. The single was heightened by the self-directed music video featuring legendary Egyptian- Australian comedian Akmal Saleh.

"British Museum” followed months after, proving to be his greatest feat yet. The single tells the tale of an elaborate ruse to reclaim Egypt’s stolen artefacts, discussing colonialism & cultural identity.

The video reached the shores of Egypt garnering media coverage across the Middle East and 1.5M views on TikTok, while back home being featured on rage, MTV, triple j and editorial Spotify playlists.
