The Native Howl

My friend & I drove 2 hrs. for this concert venue.I have been following the Native Howl since 2017 where I saw them at Reggies in Chicago..I've seen them Twice in Bloomington,IL. I love their Thrass grass music & I get to chat with them a little bit. Great group of musicians! They deserved to win the No Cover" Contest ,where they Impressed Alice Cooper & the other judges were also wowed! Tonight's Cobra lounge venue had my favorite band aka The Native Howl,great food,great service, & friendly,helpful people.

Not a big turnout; being a Wed. night made it sparse, but that made the band more approachable, and some friends of mine opened the show, so it was a hell of a lot of fun.

Wow! This band blew us away! So talented. Such professional musicians. And a totally new genre: ThrashGrass. Band even greeted us after the show at the merch table. Fantastic!

The Venue was good, the people were fun and the drinks ok. All the bands were great. The native howl always brings it and for the show they did just that.

These guys are the real deal! Such a unique sound — and their lyrics are refreshing (the dark edge is pleasantly offset by hope, redemption, or at least, a request for forgiveness). Can’t wait to see them again, and wish Alex and the gang the best of luck on their tour.

These guys are super fun! So glad I had the chance to see them. They have a Fun groove and a super versatile playing style. I hope they come back to Lubbock, TX soon.

first time attending the castle theatre, i like these type of shows where the venue is not too big, but big enough to get the job done. i went to see the native howl mainly, i didn't know the other bands, but i stayed for the whole show. i might be biased, but native howl was my favorite. high energy, in your face, metal/bluegrass. they showed up to impress, and did just that!

This band is so sick! They are one of the best openings bands out there! There music so cool mixing bluegrass and thrash metal!🤘🤘🤘

Had great crowd involvement and loved the thrash grass genre.

These guys are top notch, bona-fide musicians that sing 4 part harmony whilst rocking the house. If you haven't heard of them, you soon will. Do yourself a favor and check them out before they sell out arenas for hundreds of dollars a ticket.

Excellent to see this band live. The performance was short and the crowd was tiny. I’m thinking b/c the weather was trash not a whole lot of ppl came out. It’s sad b/c this band is so talented. The opening act was really good as well so hats off to Locust Grove and Native. I certainly appreciate them taking the time with us after the show!!

The Native Howl is the most in your face entertaining group of talented musicians you could possibly see anywhere on one stage. Their musicianship and performance are always spot on and you can’t help but to have a great time. Highly recommend catching their show!
