There are at least six artists or groups named Assassin:
1.) Assassin is a German thrash metal band that was founded 1983 in Düsseldorf. They released two thrash metal classics, The Upcoming Terror in 1987 and Interstellar Experience in 1988. The band split up in 1989, but after a 2003 reunion show at the Wacken Open Air, Assassin released a new album entitled "The Club" in 2005.
2.) Rap artist/producer out of San Jose, California who has collaborated with such artists as 2Pac, JT The Bigga Figga, Rappin' 4-Tay, Young Droop, San Quinn, Mistah F.A.B., and many more.
3.) Assasin Spelled with only three S's. Last.fm however corrects this to this page. Danish indie act.
4.) Assassin the French hip-hop act.
5.) Assassin the Jamaican dancehall deejay (born December 22, 1982 as Jeffrey Campbell in Papine, Jamaica). He was discovered by Spragga Benz, who also helped him to a contract with Penthouse Records. Through Donovan Germain he got to VP Records.
6.) An Irish heavy metal band that appeared on the Green Metal: New Wave Of Irish Heavy Metal compliation in 1985, and released the single "Stealin'" in 1987
