Asphalt voit le jour en 2013. Le groupe se compose alors de Benoit (Guitar), Maxime (Guitar) et Thomas (Drums). Le groupe est rejoins par Thibaud (Bass) en 2014. Asphalt s'influence de groupe tels que Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer, Motörhead ou encore de groupes plus ressent tels que Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold ou Five Finger Death Punch. Le groupe est actuellement en phase de composition avec en projet une première sortie CD. Entre ce travail de composition, le groupe est à la recherche de dates pour amorcer la rencontre avec le public.
