Natalia Mateo

Natalia Mateo is a singer, composer, songwriter, voicecoach and actress. Her prime musical genre has been jazz. One of the significant points in her career was the cooperation with the label ACT and the German JazzECHO award in 2016. After the 3 released jazz albums she is now working on NEO, a minimal electronic music project and is continuing her jazz project in the form of a trio with Christian Grothe and Bertram Burkert. Another one of the significant points in her career was her work with filmdirector Tom Tykwer and film music composer Johnny Klimek on the role of Betty Winter in the German acclaimed series Babylon Berlin. It has been screened world wide through the streaming service HBO. Apart from NEO she has recently curated and organised a tribute for Bill Withers for the Jazzfestival Berlin with musicians like
Carlos Bica, Julia Kadel, Erik Leuthäuser, Laura Winkler and Lukas Akintaya.
