Richard Marx

I've seen Richard 8 times including this show, in a variety of states. I live in KC MO. I've seen him in KC, St Louis, Chicago, and now Tucson. Richard is a Chicago native and, prior to this show, his best performances that I'd seen were BY FAR in the Chicago area (I've seen him there twice). This show was right up there with those, and that's saying a lot! I'm still sorting through my photos and think I got some great shots (2nd row). I absolutely love his music and would recommend catching his show anytime and anywhere. Some cities are better than others, though, to be fair.

Awesome concert! Well worth the relatively long drive. Richard was very engaging with the audience right from the start and continued that same enthusiasm until the end of the concert. He played a wide variety of songs from his hits to some of his deep cuts. I did a meet and greet with him after the show and it was awesome. We spoke for a few minutes and he was very down to earth.

This acoustic show from The Two Dicks-Richard Marx and Rick Springfield was hands-down the best show I've seen. They were happy to be there, fully interactive with the audience and just seemed like THE coolest guys ever! Their chemistry was so good! I've seen Springfield, this makes three times but I didn't get to see Marx last time he was here and my heart was broken. To top it off, Marx played 'Hazard' which is my absolute favorite song! Definitely recommend seeing one or both of these pin-ups, if you have the opportunity.

With any artist, there are shows, and there are fan shows! This was a definite fan show! From the moment he walked out on the stage, the excitement never left the room. One of the highlights for me was him talking about how the song Days to Remember came to be. After an early 60th birthday dinner, one of his sons asked him what he wanted for his birthday. His response? "I want us to get together and write a song together." And so they did. From Believe in Me to Fly Me to the Moon and Right Here Waiting, every song was a definite fan favorite. I would give it more than 5 stars. Thanks for the memory, Richard. It was just incredible!

Enjoyable show. One-man acoustic guitar/vocals show with occasional audio track backing that was well- done. Richard engaged well with the audience, played all his hits plus several audience requests for deep tracks and a few covers of other's songs. This tour is apparently a mix of solo and full band shows, so you may want to check before buying tix if you have a preference. I can testify that you won't feel "cheated" with the solo show. He performed for almost two hours without an intermission. As for The Clyde Theater-nice venue with excellent acoustics. Seating was a bit firm, but tolerable. Security visible and proficient. it made his show more dynamic as he was constrained by a rigid set list. It resulted in a fun mix of things he wanted to perform along with audience requests.

Richard Marx put on a terrific show in Carmel last night! His voice is tremendous! His music is fantastic! From the beginning of the show he was very much at ease with the audience. It made us feel like we were reuniting with an old friend that we really only knew through his music. We experienced Richard as a person last night. He joked around, introduced us to his sons via a video of them singing and playing background to Richard’s lead, and took enough requests that he added another 1/2 hour or so to a show that was already 90+ minutes without an intermission. This is the 2nd time that I’ve seen Richard at The Palladium. If he’ll “Keep Comin’ Back” I will certainly keep going to see him!

Show was not bad - but it was far from great. I was not expecting for an acoustic show - and only voice and guitar. So, it was a lot of talking, while I was expecting for more music. Some things didn't work well - like Richard playing Angelia with no amps, as only the people that were seating really close to the stage could hear it decently. Overall, quite a shame, as I had high expectations for the concert.

The show at the St. George Theatre was excellent. I love the acoustic show as it is very intimate, and you get to hear the hit songs you love. Richard Marx sounds the same as he did in the 80's and his personality shines during the performance with the stories about some songs. This show he is with Rick Springfield and the friendship is evident. Together it was so much fun and I love when they both came out into the crowd. I drove 2 hours to this show and the St. George Theatre is so nice. The place is gorgeous, clean, friendly staff. I recommend everyone go to see his show you won't be sorry.

It was great! Not a fan of acoustic performances, but with he and Richard both playing guitars on the songs, it brought more fullness to them. Richard still has the great voice and is able to hit all the notes. Also, the interaction between was a highlight of the show, it was like hanging with 2 of your friends sharing funny stories and important moments in their lives. At one point, he was able to integrate with the video screen so that he played a song “with” his sons.

I really liked the concert at Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage! It was my first time seeing Richard Marx and first time at Agua Caliente. The venue was the perfect size and easy to get in and out. We sat on the 4th floor and you could easily see the stage. The sound was really good too. I would definitely go to this venue again! We were going to go see his concert in Cerritos but it was too expensive so seeing Richard at Agua Caliente was perfect for the whole group of us!

Loved this venue...it's modern with high ceilings so you feel like its an outdoor space but with air conditioning! The big screens mean you don't miss anything and there isn't a bad seat in the room. Acoustics were good too...as long as the audience wasn't screaming. LOL!! I was so glad to see Richard Marx for the first time in my life. I'm 62 and grew up listening to his songs on the radio and singing along to them. He is a professional musician, singer/songwriter and so gracious to the audience. His voice is still beautiful and his pitch is perfect! Thank you for coming Richard Marx and I hope you come again. It was great the way you interact with the audience even the clowns yelling out. Loved hearing you play without the band back up. They are great but you were magnificent all by yourself of course you had us back up singers to help you out.. Can't wait for you to come back to New York. The Richard Marx show @ ANITAS THEATRE THIRROUL was every bit the flawless intimate gig I knew it would be. On all accounts he definitely delivers. He writes, sings, produces and performs all of his songs and you can't get a more authentic connection to an artist than that. The 2023 Australian tour has been an incredible success with all his shows sold out nationally and it's abundantly clear that at 59 he shows no signs of slowing down. I absolutely adore the way He makes his audience feel a connection to his music, his family and his world with a genuine warmth you can't help but be drawn into as you go along on his musical journey with him. Richard Marx is the whole package and deserves every inch of the success he has dedicated a lifetime too. For me hearing him sing Angelia was a totally unforgettable experience I can't even articulate what it meant to me. Can't wait till he comes back.

I went with my sister who is a big fan to see Richard Marx in the National Concert Hall (NCH) last night in Dublin, Ireland and it was a great show and he is fantastic. He was on his own with his guitars and a piano and it was effectively Richard Marx Unplugged, but it was simply brilliant. I could see him on stage clearly, and really hear his voice which is fantastic and he is a great vocalist and can hit those high notes and keep them going. He played most of his hits ( he has had so so many) and my favourite "Hazard" and "Right Here Waiting For You", etc. And he sang some newer songs which were good, with his sons accompanying on a backing track and a video for one of them (handsome boys like their Dad), and he effectively sang solo (with some audience participation of couse) and played his guitar and piano for two hours. I feel so privileged to have gone and it is one of the best pop/rock concerts I have ever been at. I hope he gets back to Dublin to play again and soon. The NCH in Dublin is a great intimate venue with great acoustics for concerts. And for once at a concert, the people around me were engaged in the concert (not going in and out to the bar or talking to each other) and the venue really enhanced the concert experience. It showcased Richard Marx's amazing vocal, music and song writing talents in a very special way. Thank you so much Richard Marx for your wonderful concert in Dublin! One of the best live acoustic intimate music shows I've seen. Richard Marx is exceptional and hasn't missed a beat. The show for his Storyteller Tour was full of fun, wit, laughter, melodic tunes (past/present), musicianship and storytelling. I adore his music, voice (raspy/melodic), instrumentation and his lyrics are always on point. I had the best time and I hope he does more in NYC. We Love Him Here !!! Oh and lastly, he is hilarious (great natural comedic timing, able to read a room on a dime) AND he still looks the same (fine/handsome). 🥰🎵🎸🎤🎹🤗

Concert of Richard Marx was absolutely amazing. I am a huge fan, following him since the 80s, have all cds, know all the songs. It was my first time I was able to see him and it was absolutely fabulous, amazing. Great sound, great voice, great songs, he is a very nice person. His stories were very interesting, funny. I am still abolutely amazed. I brought with me Richards book Stories To Tell, waited for Richard after the concert to sign it, but did not meet him. But its ok, the concert ifself was worth to see and again, it was fantastic. Just a note - me and my wife, we drove 800km, from Slovakia, to see him at tbe concert, took 2 days off at the office, book a night in the hotel, but it all was worth to do for the concert. Richard, thanks for the amazing concert, hope to see you again.

I bought these tickets for my husband for Christmas. My husband's bday is Christmas Day. He was so excited to get these. It was the best gift he told me that I have gotten him in 28 years. We had his music at our wedding 28 years ago. My husband has seen him 4 times before this but he loved this one best of all. He is a great entertainer and a very funny guy.

I absolutely loved it. I took alot of pictures and they turned out great. Him and Matt are so comical together. When he sang Take this Heart I cried. I cried because he is one of 4 of my favorite singers and has been over 34 years. Take this Heart was one of the first songs I fell in love with. This is the second of his virtual concert live event I attended. I watched the May 7 with my mother. She passed away August 25, 2021 and I know she would have loved his performance too. Now I hope soon to see him perform in a live concert event. That has always been my greatest dream. Richard Noel Marx thank you for that fantastic performance. You were funny, silly, and amazing. I didnt take any photos as it was a live stream event but the show was AMAZING. Richard sang a lot of his favourite songs and 1 or 2 that i hadnt heard. He is incredibly funny and i thoroughly enjoy every single second of it. If Richard does another live stream I'll definitely be buying my ticket. Anybody not sure whether to go and see Richard i would say go as youll have the best night of your life
