Friday Night Specials

It began in 2011 when Ronnie & Jonas started jammin and having a few beers in the rehearsalroom. Ronnie who usually plays the drums had began focusing more and more on guitars. Eager to play he started writing some tunes and felt that it would be kinda cool to try something out. He asked Andy if he could join in on some rehearsals and the trio was founded. We played as a trio in the rh for some time before we found Jakob, a mellow awesome dude who turned out to be perfect for us. A month later Mattias joined for a session on bass and was hooked instantly. Thing went on smooth and in may 2013 FNS had their first gig in Malmö Sweden at Häng Bar. The band was stoked by the feeling of playing their own music for strangers. It was a good gig and a great opportunity for the band to try their own written songs in a sharp situation. Summer came and the band lost a member. Andy left the band to get the time he needed for his other band and project. A few weeks later that same summer Robert joined the band and FNS was complete again. Well, the rest is still to be written. But the future looks good for Friday Night Specials. Stay tuned...
