LoveCryme

Brooklyn. 2012. A punk drummer named Jonny Couch from Cleveland met Danish girl Ljuba Castot. They started to write and record what would become LoveCryme. In March 2013, the group began to perform their self titled debut album live. This modern synth-rock outfit has hit clubs all over Brooklyn and Manhattan. In addition, LoveCryme has already been showcased at summer music festivals Montauk Music Festival and Bushwick Open Studios. As a result, the group became a featured artist on ReverbNation. Renowned director Tawd Dorenfeld (Erykah Badu, System of a Down) also took an interest in the group and directed the dark visionary music video for LoveCryme's first single, "Happy Ever After". LoveCryme has just completed a Midwest June tour and is also continuing to play special events all over NYC to support their album. It was released on June 13th and is being distributed through IODA / The Orchard / NAIL (courtesy of Sojourn Records). The dark electro synth rock LP also features a bonus remix track of "High Heels" from master remixer Chew Fu (Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Robyn), with art direction from David Allen/Artrouble (Devo, The Police). LoveCryme is an electro-pop duo based in NYC.
