Retract

Started in September 2013, Retract began through guitarists Cameron Johnston and Nic Federle's simultaneous plunge into 8 string guitar territory. Inspired by their new instrument's power and range, Retract was spawned. In late 2014, drummer Samm Barrett was welcomed into our ranks and we began writing our debut EP 'Negentropy'. 2016 brought a the gain and loss of a few members and the recording of a single 'Like Clockwork' as well as the beginning of our first full-length 'La Discesa'. Retract is an innovative and unique progressive metal band from Colorado. Blending elements of more traditional genres with components of modern metal.
