Ryan Young Music

Ryan Young & The Electric Sunrise, are a Sheffield based band formed in 2015. Within a year the band have already released a debut album by themselves titled 'Heat Seeker'. They are a High octane Country Rock 'n' Roll band with a perfect landscape of sound. 'You wouldn’t be the only one if you forget that Ryan Young is from Sheffield while listening to this, he sounds fresh out of Memphis, Tennessee' - 'Reyt Good Music' magazine Sheffield - David Crouch 9/10 Back in 2015 Ryan Young had wrote over 100 songs whilst travelling around the world. He brought back this raw, high energy catalogue of music and quickly called on the help of his two friends, Lewis Carr (Guitar) & Tom Whitehead (Bass) to form a band around his excellent songwriting ability. Since those days the band have rapidly built up a huge following in Sheffield, playing at the top bars and clubs on the top of the bill. Recently the band were invited and played at Y-Not festival and Kaya Festival. Not only are they hitting the festivals hard this summer they also have been getting regular plays from BBC Introducing radio stations such as BBC Radio Sheffield & BBC Radio Humberside, also they are in queue to be played on Clint Boon's podcast episode 4. The band also supported Sheffield legends Heaven 17 at The 02 Academy in Sheffield last year in 2015. The boys are not slowing down and have the intention of releasing yet another album for Christmas 2016 titled 'Riding Harleys On The Moon' and have a huge hometown show pending on the 1st October in Sheffield at the famous club The Leadmill.
