Garbage

Absolutely incredible gig. And as a double header with Skunk Anansie, this is the ultimate pairing. Every single song gave me the feels. And Shirley Manson, what a presence and front woman. They are one of my all time favourite live bands and they really reminded me why this time. And having Nicole Fiorentino as their touring bassist was an added bonus bringing more female power to the stage. Beautiful live band and very satisfying show indeed.

Garbage smashed it. Sure, they're getting on a bit, but they sure can still play. Shirley has the audience in the palm of her hands and although many might disagree, I really like that she uses her platform to talk about social issues. Great setlist (although gutted #1 Crush wasn't played), good delivery and excellent support from Placebo. All in all, a great evening.

Garbage are eternal...limitless energy, power and absolute genius. Shirley's magnetic stage presence and stratospheric voice combined with the band's dynamic sound and sheer brilliance make their live performance unforgettable. I have been fortunate enough to see Garbage live four times now in differing venues and each time they have given their fans THE best performance. Garbage are certainly a band who both appreciate and respect their fans as we love them without reservation.. ❤️🎆🎉

An awesome experience. Shirley was magnificent and the band was brilliant. The Thebarton Theatre was sold out. The lighting was beautifully synchronised with the music and was an impressive spectacle itself. Shirley was charming and grateful to her loyal followers who in turn had a great time. The crowd enthusiasm built with every song and by the end we were treated with a couple of songs for the encore. I hope you can come back to Adelaide one day - know that you will always be welcome and LOVED.

What a blessing it was to see Garbage live. They put on a phenomenal show. They’re kind, inviting, and welcoming. They are safe band and their live performance is worth every dollar. I want there to be stock in Garbage because I would invest every dollar. Go see them live. They will not disappoint!

Awesome to hear Garbage live. Band sounded as tight as ever. Played many of their best know songs such as Stupid Girl, Only Happy When It Rains, Queer, Cherry Lips, I think I'm Paranoid. Shirley's voice as good as ever. One note: Shirley Manson is way, way too political and her rants were a bummer to listen to. Almost ruins a wonderful concert by a great band

Lástima que no se vendió muchas entradas y por lo cual se hizo el cambio de escenario coma aún así la energía le entrega del grupo estuvo sensacional Aunque por parte del recinto hizo falta que usaran la pantalla del fondo Eso sí fue un detalle menos pero se compensó con el juego de luces la energía la gente y todo el show estuvo genial para volverlos a ver en vivo. Un detalle que no me gustó fue que lo llevaron mercancía oficial

I was hugely disppointed that Garbage cancelled a couple of years ago when they were supposed to tour with Blondie. As it happens, it worked out well. They headlined their own tour this time and having been a fan for amny years, I finally got to see them. The support came from up and coming Scottish band Lucia and the Best Boys and the interesting and unsusual Jehnny Beth. Garbage delivered two and a half hours of blistering Rock. The band isbrilliant at producing alsmost studio quality sound live and fronted by Shirley's soaring vocals suffused with power and menace. Many of their songs are angry about something or other and always thought provoking. Shirley had a lot to say, and her position on women in the music industry is forthright and backed by her actions. The support bands were both fronted by women. She also mentioned that they were terrified of performing in London as they had always felt their performances here had been "duds". Not this time. They were so excited by the reaction they were getting that they ran slightly over time. I am sure they would have gone on for longer if they could. I felt royally entertained and provoked in equal measure. With an eighth album being worked on I can only hope they return to London soon. I will be in the audience when they do.

Another incredible show! Time marches on and youth may be fleeting but for Garbage, age is just a number. They continue to go hard and never fail to steal a show. I've always considered them to be a supergroup of sorts. And when they take the stage, you don't know this, you feel this truth about them. But that doesn't mean they play in a way that condescends in any manner of speaking. No, they command attention but they "melt faces" as the kids say these days, with aplomb. This is a powerful piece of art in motion. There's passion and anger but it's still rock. It's 90s to now alternative that is unapologetic. It's seering and brash but with care and precision. Garbage albums are always seamless experiences. Polished gems of musical craftsmanship and the live experience is no less brilliant. To say they are exactly like the record though, not at all. They shake it up. They keep you on your toes as it were. From alternate bass lines or changed timing, they never lose the grit but the live experience is such that you walk away needing to relisten to the catalogue. I say all of this with an odd caveat, I've only ever seen them open for others. For such a powerhouse of musicians to always be the bridesmaid is a bit odd but, in a sense, I think it works. They were such an integral part of my musical teenage years that I can't separate them from the pther bands I listened to at the time. And for that, having them as the opener for any band of that era or genre will always work. Just be warned, they steal the show. You may go a fan of whatever band or artist was the headliner but you'll leave a Garbage fan. Amd if you go as a fan, your appreciation will only increase. Side note, bonus points for them stopping to help a fan that was having an issue. Directing the crowd and alerting staff to help them was huge. They aren't just people, they are also genuinely cool people. Cool people that make amazing music.

Garbage is one of my top 5 live bands. They always sound great, and that have so many great songs to choose from for their sets. While there's always songs I wish they would have played, I can't say there's ever been one I didn't want to hear. I dig their different versions of songs live too.

Shirley Manson is an amazing performer and so cool. We had lawn seats and when it started pouring rain they had everyone come inside. While we were waiting a super nice lady gave us her seats and we ended up having a pretty nice view of the stage!

Garbage was fantastic. Shirley is always awesome. Love her fighting spirit. The venue is okay. Decent options - pretzels way too salty and tacos way too tiny but there are plenty of other foods. Alcohol is expensive, but the frozen vodka lemonade drinks are very good. Had some very annoying issues with people around us during Alanis's set, but luckily not during Garbage. (I like Alanis, but much more into Garbage, so at least I got to enjoy the set I was more interested in.)

Garbage was awesome! The sound was killer, the band was great and Shirley was amazing. Just a great set. We actually went as my wiife wanted to see Alanis. Alanis was good but Garbage was better on many different levels! The level of professionalism and sound quality was night and day. Garbage should have been the headliner. My wife is a new Garbage fan now!

This band never disappoints. I’ve been a fan since the beginning, and they remain one of my favorites. Happy to hear tunes both old and new. And the way lead singer Shirley took the time to make sure her audience had a good time and was safe is why I love her. Can’t wait until the next show. 💜💜💜💜

This is the 3rd time seeing Garbage and have loved every time!! I wish they would have started a bit later when the sun went down:-( The Concord Pavillion while the sun is setting is not the best time to play! They sounded great but barely played an hour:-(( Felt like they just kinda were there but not really there! I will see them every time they come around still:-))
