About Juhn Echo

Juhn Echo are a trio hailing from Clare, Galway, and Tokyo, currently based in Dublin (Ireland) that write their own songs and compose and arrange their own music. Most often, lyrical ideas give rise to musical ideas; these musical ideas are arranged for fiddle, guitars, banjo, viola and on other rarer occasions, sansula and shruti box. Juhn Echo recognise the influence traditional Irish music has on their music along with the influence of a range of contemporary folk musicians and singer-songwriters.

After the release of Juhn Echo’s self-titled debut EP in 2014, the band went on to perform at a host of festivals around Ireland including Electric Picnic, Body and Soul, Knockanstockan, and The Spirit of Folk festival.

Most recently, Juhn Echo have released a single, If I Go, and an accompanying music video. This release was celebrated with The Dublin Café Tour in the summer of 2015.
Juhn Echo’s various activities over the past few years have garnered the attention of a number of people, who had the following to say: ‘They play with one foot in the past without it ever being possible to say they are rooted there.’ -Sean Noone of U&I Magazine ‘Juhn Echo display an inherent talent for a sweetly crafted melody.... a seriously impressive new band’ -Tony Lawless, Tradconnect ‘Their debut EP is a wonderful introduction.’ -Irish Times Juhn Echo is comprised of:
