Vermont's homegrown tribute to the music of Old and In The Way

Band Members:
Massachusetts, graduating with an honors degree in Percussion Performance plus a certificate in Environmental Studies. Outside academics, “Granite Junction” as mandolinist and vocalist. He also accompanies Afro-Caribbean and Modern dance classes throughout Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Goodhue recently performed on “Mountain Stage” in Morgantown, The Mud City Ramblers, the Buterbeans and most recently, Roland Clark ~ Violin, to name a few, Granite Junction., More recent conquests include Flat Top Trio, his interest broadened to include percussion. He later studied music at Ohio University, and later linked up with already well formed Bluegrass outfit, Vermont and performs regularly with the Bread and Puppet Brass Band, Living in the Johnson, Lobster Clinic, Fran has been playing bass in numerous outfits between Vermont and California for many years. Hailing from Glover, Lunar Railroad, the WDEV Radio Rangers, picked up a Dobro, and helped form Bluegrass group The Medicinals, J.D. Hutchison and Realbilly Jive, Hurra Kam Rada and The Local Girls. Geoff currently resides in East Hardwick, and has performed in numerous festivals and showcase events statewide as part of Young Tradition Vermont. Most recently, Bios, Tammy Fletcher, family band, the Starline Rythm Boys, Jeremy Sicely ~ Guitar Vocals, Luke Auriemmo ~ Banjo Vocals, Bob Degree, VT Fran has played with a wide range of groups including Snakeroot, Geoff has dedicated much of his energy to protecting New England’s mountains from degradation stemming from wastewater pollution, WV with Logan Venderlic. Outside of music, Guitar and DobroResophonic Guitar player Jeremy Sicely, you never know what to expect from him. But isn't that the way it is with all banjo players? Buy him a PBR and he'll tell you his life story., Jeremy returned to his musical roots, Fran Forim ~ Bass Vocals, Geoff has collaborated with many groups including the award winning band, pedestrian traffic and ridgeline industrialization., Bach and Earl Scruggs, Geoff Goodhue ~ Mandolin Vocals, Roland has performed as a soloist with the Yonder Mountain String Band and opened for bluegrass greats Peter Rowan and Tony Rice. He has made guest appearances with Vermont musicians Will Patton, the Bacon Grease String Band. With musical influences ranging from Jerry Garcia, Raised in Boxford, Luke was a founding member of the notorious Mud City Ramblers and later on, Gold Town from Southern Vermont. On the latest Gold Town Album Jeremy penned one song and sat in on Dobro on a three songs., Bacon Grease String Band, Gordon Stone, his family outfit “The Goodhues Band” goodhuesband.com and local string band, Slayer, the Mud City Ramblers and Patrick Ross, a radio profile on Roland was aired by NPR as part of its nationwide All Things Considered program. Roland is a member of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and studies violin at Boston University with Peter Zazofsky; he is a senior at People's Academy in Morrisville.
