About Alex Angelo
Alex Angelo is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ whose music refuses to be put in a box. Born in Fort Myers, Florida, and raised between Cleveland and Cincinnati, Alex grew up immersed in sound—his father worked in radio, and his mother is a music teacher. The family moved frequently, exposing him to a wide range of culture and influence that still shapes his artistry today.
Alex’s journey began onstage as a dancer for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but his talent quickly took center stage. At just 12 years old, he landed his own show on Radio Disney. By his teens, he was touring nationally with artists like Shawn Mendes, Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, and Jake Miller. At 17, he signed with legendary producer Babyface. Two years later, he made the leap to Nashville and secured a publishing deal with Symphonic in 2022.
Now 24, Alex is releasing music at a steady pace—about every five weeks—and seeing the highest consumption numbers of his career. Songs like U & Tequila, Turn a Round, and Mr. Maker have resonated with listeners and earned him editorial playlist placements across major DSPs. If one had to label his sound, it would fall under “Country Pop”—a mix of heart and hook, somewhere between Dan + Shay and Kacey Musgraves.
Alongside his artist work, Alex hosts a nationally syndicated radio show heard on Top 40 and rhythm stations across the country, distributed by Yea! Networks. It’s another way he stays connected to listeners while keeping his finger on the pulse of what’s next.
Beyond the music, Alex is a committed mental health advocate. A brand ambassador for Free2Luv—a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth, ending bullying, and supporting mental wellness—Alex brings a personal lens to his advocacy. Bullied as a teen for simply being different, he now uses his platform to champion self-expression and resilience, especially for young people navigating their own paths.
Whether it’s a polished country-pop single or a genre-bending curveball, Alex’s music reflects his journey, his collaborators, and a fearless refusal to be boxed in. One song may not be for you—another might be your favorite. That’s the point. He’s creating, evolving, and doing it all unapologetically—one track at a time.
