Troy Junker

Troy Junker, born July 18, 1992, is a Canadian Hip Hop recording artist from Saskatchewan, Canada. At a young age Troy caught the travel-bug. You can find Junker globetrotting somewhere that catches his interest and attention. His musical journey began during his teenage years when he began song writing and recording music. By 2010, Troy had put his own personal stamp on the local Saskatchewan hip-hop scene. Troy helped in establishing an electro-pop group named Fresh City where he and fellow rappers Tanner Fresh and Wizeh. Fresh City created a substantial local buzz with summer singles, “To The Floor Ft. Belly” and “Danger.” After completing a songwriting certificate from the University of Saskatchewan, in 2013, Troy ventured to his childhood hometown of Jacksonville, FL to work on his first single Life’s Good. Sunny visuals by Lewis Farinella accompanied the track. Life’s Good gained attention in Canada, Germany, Poland, and other European states and provinces. In late 2014, Troy made up his final decision to leave from his Uranium mining job in Saskatchewan and moved to Oshawa, ON to follow a musical career path and enroll in the Music Business Management program at Durham College. In recent time, Troy has been busier than ever before. When not studying Music Business Management, Troy is developing and recording his album Man On The Moon. He has also partnered in creating a record label, Wet Paint Records. Man On The Moon is scheduled to release April 10, 2016. Until then, Troy will continue to create music for the masses that is filled with fresh and authentic content. A young man from Canada that left everything he knew to chase his musical dreams and give others the drive to do the same.
