The Starless

Since the beginning, The Starless has been working nonstop to stake their place in the music world. Their debut EP, Impulses Drive, released December 17th, 2014, is the realization of the band's boldest dreams, creating a unique, passionate, and often-experimental new rock sound. With a roster of new songs that are, by turns, electrifying, upbeat, often aggressive, and raw with emotion, this Virginia quartet which consists of Briana Strobele (vocals, guitar), Donny Sauer (bass, synth, vocals), Shane Lewis (guitar), and Joshua Duncan (drums), has produced a breakthrough album that opens the listener's mind into their world and take them by storm. This addictive songwriting is what makes Impulses Drive stand out as a memorable first impression of what they have planned next. All coming from different musical backgrounds and walks of life, The Starless want nothing more than to connect with people who spend the time to listen to their music, and the messages and stories that lie within each song. The band found the same adventurous spirit they hoped to inspire in their listeners with their producers, JK Royston & Dan Mineart, formerly of The Bigger Lights, as well. Working with JK & Dan over the Spring & Summer of 2014 constantly writing new material, The Starless was able to narrow down their musical ventures into 5 songs they felt truly represented the story they have to tell.
