Against a Broken World

Brought together by their mutual love of music, Ian Crawford, Steven Castor, Landen Johnston and George Gonzalez formed a band by the name of War Waging Men in late 2012. After going through an array of different front-men, the group finally settled on front-man and Vocalist Gabe Chassaigne. After a few months with the front-man, the group as a whole decided to expand its horizons, wanting to add clean vocals to many of their works. Soon, after only two rehearsals with vocalist Greg Alvarado, the group grew from five members, to six. Along with the line-up change came a name change and in spring 2013, the band transformed from War Waging Men into Against a Broken World. Over summer 2013, the group played a variety of different shows until heading to the studio in August to record their debut single, Macbeth. Macbeth, being a huge success, helped carry Against a Broken World to where they are today, getting ready to again approach the studio to record their debut EP.
