Etcha

Etcha is a Dutch born Berlin-based DJ and producer. Etcha is short for Etchaberri and is Basque for ‘in his house’. It is the exploration of house oriented dance music that plays a central role in his sound, ranging from the discoid to the technoid, with wavey storytelling at its core. It is the love for arpeggiated and cosmic sounds that sees him defy genre boundaries and temporarily reduce gravity’s pull on people legs. His efforts as a DJ have already been fruitful, with Âme & Dixon granting him the winner of a podcast contest for their Muting the Noise platform.

In the production department, he is focussing on building his musical identity and is steadily releasing his creations into the world, finding labels with a kindred spirit and fitting home for his music. His tracks have been played out by the likes of Acid Pauli, Curses & many close friends and one of his track got featured on Deep House Amsterdam. At the end of 2018 he started his own label, focussing on original output with a cosmic touch. Besides, new projects will see the daylight in the near future.
