As always ginger root is a phenomenal artist with an incredible stage presence, his music is so energizing and you can tell that everyone on stage is firing on all cylinders, I've never been disappointed by a ginger root concert

Absolutely wonderful concert; it was actually one of the best concerts I have ever attended. Such a unique experience he brings with his cool gear and instruments with his tour mates (who are equally as talented). Thank you, Mr. Root!

We had so much fun!!! Might have been the best show I've ever been to, all things considered. The opening band Fast Preacher was surprisingly good too, though I was really looking forward to the To Binge duet with Japanese Breakfast. The guy on bass was phenomenal.

Was an amazing concert the band were great to see. The fun camerawork connected with the projector and the drummer and bass dudes absolutely killing it and the main man himself absolutely cooking it up. The crowd was amazing too and the local band who opened also killed it. Was just a little crowded though hard to get over to the bar area but it was fine just had to be really patient just you cant tell the line to the bar from just people in the crowd. The merch booth was good to snagged some good stuff afterwords was a really good experience fr probably needed some fans inside got real hot real quick. Good show good venue 👌

Vibes were spot on! Ginger Root is an entertaining performer with a fun personality and sense of humor. The music was a great blend of energetic, retro and modern styles and the opening performance, Pearl and the Oysters, fit great with Ginger Root’s music!

Ginger Root was simply AMAZING!!! We took our 11-year-old son, who watched the show front and center against the stage. We all loved, loved, LOVED the show so much. Some songs were even better than on the album. Go see these guys; they are insane in the best way!!!!

Absolutely fantastic! So glad I finally got to see Ginger Root live. Loved the incorporation of crt tv’s with live concert imagery playing thru them simultaneously as we watched the performance. Too cool!

Watching the Ginger-verse come togheter stronger than the marvel-verse is incredible. Being there whilst history is being made has to be some of the most fun I've had at a concert (if you can even call it that anymore)

much chill. much fun. much nostalgia. loved the video effects + dynamic of the camera man. concert was as much of a show as it was a story told unfold.

awesome show. first time at the concert hall, lovely venue with an amazing disco ball. wasn't impressed that there wasn't free water, but thems the breaks. second time seeing mr. root, was just as the first time, but much more enjoyable with the additional space. would ask that more than one person man the merch table next time.

Great show! For a relatively small indie band, they played a very impressive set. Good rapport with the crowd, and polished playing all around. If you get a chance to see a Ginger Root show in the future, don’t miss it!

Ginger root truly puts on a performance, playing City Slickers and Nisemono EP’s cover to cover (kind of), including a set complete with music videos, a narrative plot, outfit changes, guest appearances, commercial breaks, a Stevie Wonder cover and even a Q&A. The self described ‘aggressive elevator music’ is just right, sure to make you groove all night. Fit with a cameraman, three screens, and a three piece band, ginger root kept your attention. With driving drums, tight bass and fantastical synth tinged keys, ginger root is sure to put on not just a show, but a true production. The entire show was filled with banter and satire out the speakers and through the roof. Nisemono ( 2022 ) is a concept piece portraying the story of a young musician who quickly outgrows their musical prodigy set in the year 1983. The live audience became a part of the show, as the live audience for news channels and interviews. Bonus, if you speak Japanese

Always have the grooviest time at a Ginger Root concert. I saw them earlier in KC as an opening band, and I am so glad I got to see them be the main band! Such a great time.

Incredible show! high energy, great set design. If you have the chance. Do it. You will not regret it. Everyone is part of the show.

One of the most fun and unique shows I've seen in 20 years of concerts! I knew it would be and I would've been at the show last year if not stuck on a cruise ship! 😅 If you get a chance to see Ginger Root don't miss it!

This was a very enjoyable show! So happy that they came to Richmond, VA and SOLD OUT. One of my most favorite shows at the Capital Ale House. Audience was great. Band was amazing! Will definitely see them again when they're back in town.
