Such a fun show! The band was on point, with great energy! Including cast members from the videos was a special touch.

Great show! For a relatively small indie band, they played a very impressive set. Good rapport with the crowd, and polished playing all around. If you get a chance to see a Ginger Root show in the future, don’t miss it!

Ginger root truly puts on a performance, playing City Slickers and Nisemono EP’s cover to cover (kind of), including a set complete with music videos, a narrative plot, outfit changes, guest appearances, commercial breaks, a Stevie Wonder cover and even a Q&A. The self described ‘aggressive elevator music’ is just right, sure to make you groove all night. Fit with a cameraman, three screens, and a three piece band, ginger root kept your attention. With driving drums, tight bass and fantastical synth tinged keys, ginger root is sure to put on not just a show, but a true production. The entire show was filled with banter and satire out the speakers and through the roof. Nisemono ( 2022 ) is a concept piece portraying the story of a young musician who quickly outgrows their musical prodigy set in the year 1983. The live audience became a part of the show, as the live audience for news channels and interviews. Bonus, if you speak Japanese

Doors opened at 7 but show started at 9 despite the ticket say it starts at 8.

One of the most fun and unique shows I've seen in 20 years of concerts! I knew it would be and I would've been at the show last year if not stuck on a cruise ship! 😅 If you get a chance to see Ginger Root don't miss it!

This was a very enjoyable show! So happy that they came to Richmond, VA and SOLD OUT. One of my most favorite shows at the Capital Ale House. Audience was great. Band was amazing! Will definitely see them again when they're back in town.
