About Howardian
Howardian is an art rock group fronted by Ian Vanek (Japanther) with contributions from multiple friends & musicians. Howardian is thick with technical poly rhythms, sticky piano driven melodies and sly lyrics. The resulting Hip-Hop informed pop rock songs are intended to get crowds moving and butts shaking.
Howardian's tracks feature fuzzy, distorted walls of sound and plenty of samples, all with a scuzzy modern garage-rock vibe. Current contributors include Mac Dawg, Troy Marerro, Adam Amram and Gardner Allen.
