In Sight, In Mind

in Sight, in Mind was formed in a set of quite unusual circumstances. Nick, being as sociable as he is, was a frequent of Guitar Center in Johnson City, NY. As he noticed the door man(Josh) was playing guitar at one point and had amazing shredding capabilities, a link was formed between the two future guitarists of this amazing band. Soon after this friendship was formed, Adam, while living in Southern California, was keeping in contact with Nick as they had shared the stage with each other's many bands in the past. After deciding to move back to the North East, Nick threw the idea of employing Adam's signature drumming abilities and starting a new band. Soon after Adam's return a short practice ensued and it was known at that point that something special was forming. In the following weeks Josh and Nick relentlessly poured their passions onto the treble and bass clefts to form the framework of an ep. At this point, Adam's recording abilities were called upon to undertake, what turned out to be, a behemoth of a task. As days turned to weeks, turned to months, the ep had come together in quite a good fashion until it was upon the group to fill the rest of the band out. Quite the undertaking was underway within a few short days to have the vocal elite of the area attempt to fill the spot of vocalist. While many options were laid out, Ken's frighteningly stout tone had succeeded and made him a permanent fixture in the group as plans for more work on the recordings commensed. As it were that the group hadn't had the right individual with a taste for low end punch to seise the spot of bassist, Zach seemed to fall into the group's lap as yet another musical aquaintance of Nicks. Thus, in Sight, in Mind was formed and completed the tracking of their first ep, titled "The Third Degree". The ep is set to drop in late march followed closely by a premier show which will certainly take some by surprise and and exceed the expectations of those already in the know. A hard hitting and unique metal band from the North East.
