Mickey 3D is a band formed in 1997 in Saint-Etienne, France which is an old mining and industrial town located near Lyon. This might explain the politically charged lyrics of their songs.
There are three members in the band: Mickaël Furnon, Aurélien Joanin, and Najah El Mahmoud.
The style of the band can best be described as folk rock. Mickael has written many songs for other bands, most notably "J'ai demandé à la lune" for Indochine.
