Ego Monkey

Four home slices from Southern Sydney creating fuzzy reverb soaked psych jams for your aural pleasure. Having grown up listening to blues and soul records, the boys have mixed these influences with the sounds of a number of bands ranging from Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Tame Impala & Pond, Temples, White Denim and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard to artists such as Jeff Buckley, Mac DeMarco, Matt Corby and Dan Auerbach. With support from their local music and arts scene, in particular Dinosaur Records, the boys will continue writing, experimenting and recording for a debut EP in 2016.
