About Wrath of the Fallen

Born from the Brigades of Fort Riley, KS, and its Combat arms Soldiers, Wrath of the Fallen rise with musical brutality and undying passion to bring you their style of raw, unfabricated Metal. With over 10 years of Combat tours between them, there is no lack of inspiration, bringing you songs fuelled by War, Suffering, Loss, Tragedy, Betrayal, Struggle and of course, Death itself. So many other bands out there are writing about the same stuff, but have they experienced it first hand like Wrath of the Fallen? I think not... In 2012, Hellfire, arrived at Fort Riley, where he began to seek out musicians, exclusively from within the military community, to begin a new project. He posted a message to Craigslist and within days, Jay Fallen, also new to Fort Riley, answered the call of duty. Armed with countless riffs and song ideas, accumulated over multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Jay and Hellfire, decided to give it a shot. The two immediately began working furiously, completely writing, arranging and recording their first two songs, Burn The Opposition and Curb Stomped. With a solid foundation set and some brutal chemistry in the air, Hellfire again turned to Craigslist. With no immediate luck finding a vocalist, Hellfire dusted off his microphone and performed vocals on the demo version of the songs. While Hellfire was brainstorming ideas for the bands name and direction, Wrath of the Fallen was etched into existence. With the name and logo official, Hellfire again tuned to the Internet, hoping to finally complete the band. In December of 2012, while still deployed to Afghanistan, Mike Uhlig replied to the guitarist-wanted ad. Upon further discussion, It was decided that Mike was the perfect fit for the Lead Guitar spot, although he had not yet returned from War. Hellfire also caught wind of a guy named Geoffrey Vaught, through conversation with a mutual friend. After a quick audition, Geoffrey was found be the perfect fit as vocalist for the band. With everyone in place, Wrath of the Fallen was almost complete. Zach Thompson became the final addition to Wrath of the Fallen as the bassist. The band was now complete, and Wrath of the Fallen, was born into existence. A very special thanks to Daniel Snuffer for all the help and encouragement he showed Wrath of the Fallen, at the beginning of our journey. Wrath of the Fallen went into the studio to record a demo. With the help of producer Andy Rodriguez and the amazing Bob Rodriguez on drums, their first EP was complete. On January 27th, 2014, Wrath of the Fallen’s first CD was released on iTunes, Amazon, Googleplay, Spotify, Rhapsody, Last FM and a host of others. It is a 4 song, self-titled EP including Mother’s Day Murder, Carnivorous Gaslight, Burn the Opposition and Curb Stomped. Due to Mike and Zach completing their tours of duty, their service to their Country was over. Although they headed back home, they will always be a part of the Wrath of the Fallen family. Hellfire retired from the Army recently and Geoffrey also completed his tour of duty. Jay Fallen is the only member still on active duty and is currently deployed to the Middle East. Upon his safe return, Wrath of the Fallen will be hitting the road to bring thier raw, unfabricated Metal to a stage near you. Wrath of the Fallen rise with musical brutality and undying passion to bring you their style of raw, unfabricated Metal.
