Cherylann Hawk

As a child, Cherylann wanted to sing to the world to help everyone feel better, so her mom found stages for her to sing upon as often as she could. She sang country, gospel & broadway music, then moved from Wheeling, WV to Pittsburgh, PA where she crafted a new sound. Her songwriting, guitar playing & voice have been compared to Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morrisette & Karen Carpenter. “I love the joy of making music. It’s a connection between us & with the divine. It brings us into the moment & can create a sense of peace & belonging.”

Her current musical focus is John Vento & his album, “Love, Lust & Other Wreckage.” During the final year of his 2 year project, she sang on every song, helped to write a few & assisted John & David Granati in producing an autobiographical rendition of John’s love life & how it has been effected by his insatiable lust for the stage.
