About TaQ

Taku "TaQ" Sakakibara has spent most of his life around music. Even at age four, his talent for instruments of all types was apparent. The music he produces today pushes the limits of goa, jungle, trance, electronica and techno with a unique sound which fits many genres. Born in America, he grew up in Germany and now lives in Japan, and has a total of two albums - "Bounce: Connected" and "ongaq:stromatolite" - as well as many songs featured on "Beatmania" game soundtracks. Over the years his work has gained him not only a job at Konami Japan's "Bemani" game division, but also respect at clubs all around Japan.

He is currently still producing music at Konami Japan, as well as putting out albums on a yearly basis.
