Life Long Tragedy

There are 2 groups that use this name:

1) A guy named Kevin Michael Christy who also does a hip-hop project, born in Glassboro, New Jersey, he is infamous roller with the 609 crew and gang, sometimes even NIGGAS from the 856 crew hit up this jam, for instance his rape name : EVENT ACTIVE or LOUDAMP, MARK MACHINE. In it contains Nightdoctor, North East Man, and Trainwrek, all of whom have once had a ‘rap’ career if you will, however, many of them just guest star in his tracks, north east mans first appearance was when Kevin Michael Christy had his first rap name called babyraper, inspired by gwar and disgusting lyrics, he went on a lyrical rampage for 4 songs. Until recently, HAVE HEART has been his name because he feels it completely expresses who he is and what he stands for. He has gotten political recently with song titles such as “America, the freest country in the world.” and “No Habla Jibber Jabber”.

2) Constantly evolving and progressing since their inception, Life Long Tragedy have finally found their voice. Their debut full length "Destined For Anything" is the culmination of three years of countless shows, tens of thousands of miles in the van, and five friends coming together and finding themselves in making music.

Formed in the winter 2001, Life Long Tragedy have taken a life altering course. This was their first band, formed when founding members vocalist Scott Phillips, guitarist RJ Phillips, and drummer Jason Woolery were only 14-16 years old. Less than six months later guitarist Jery Gallegos and bassist Cody Sullivan rounded out the lineup which has since been unchanged. What lies ahead...

The band would embark on their first US tours in the summer months of 2003 and 2004. Following the release of their full length, they would complete a nearly four month tour of north America and Europe in 2005.

Songs of love, hatred, desperation, and finding yourself in a fucked up world define Life Long Tragedy. "Destined For Anything" showcases the band in its true form: an uncompromisingly aggressive melodic act with heart not found in many contemporaries. What the future holds for these five kids from the northern California looks bright in a dim world.
