ANTHONY MORGAN’S INSPIRATIONAL CHOIR OF HARLEM (AMICOH) performs under their spiritual leader, Pastor Renee F. Washington Gardner of Memorial Baptist Church. Anthony Morgan, a multi-talented artist in his own right, is AMICOH’S founder. Known for its versatile sound, AMICOH ministers through the gift of song, ranging from Gospel, Jazz and Pop to R&B. These unique and carefully handpicked voices bring their love of God and love of music to the stage, and these highly sought after powerhouses all come with impressive credits to their names. These singers have circled the globe to visit many diverse places, sharing the gifts God has given them. This includes The Racheal Ray Show 2009 with Mary Tyler Moore and two unforgettable sold-out tours in Italy, where the enthusiastic audiences sang, danced and were completely captivated! Besides Italy, the members of AMICOH have performed in many countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Paris, Poland, Russia, Santo Domingo, Scotland, South America, Sweden, Switzerland and West Africa. AMICOH members have recorded and toured with numerous prominent gospel and secular artists. Among these are: Walter Hawkins & Edwin Hawkins; Davell Crawford and the Grammy® nominated Davell Crawford singers; Hezekiah Walker and The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir; the world famous Harlem Gospel Choir; Stevie Wonder; Luther Vandross; supermodel RuPaul; Fantasia; Aretha Franklin; Yolanda Adams; Tony® Award winner Lillias White; James Hall & Worship Praise; Levon Helm; Garth Hudson; Bernie Worrell; Bernard Purdie; Kevin Hearn; Matt Angus; Dickey Betts; Kathy Phillips; John Ginty; Christina Aguilera;Dennis Hopper;Gladys Knight; Vicki Winans; Donnie McClurkin; Ella Mitchell; Shirley Caesar; Victoria Hamilton and the legendary pioneer of vintage Gospel music - Rev. These include: The BB King Blues Club and Grill Gospel Brunch; Michael Arnone's 20th Annual Crawfish Fest (2009 – Augusta, NJ); 92.7 WKTU FM'S Freestyle Reunion at Madison Square Garden with TKA and featuring K7 (2007); KTU Beatstock with Pussycat Dolls at Jones Beach (2008); McDonald's Gospel Fest; "The Christmas Tree Lighting" at Rockefeller Center; The Women's Forum with Barbara Walters; Gospel Brunch at The Stanhope House (Stanhope, NJ); Black Potatoe Independent Music Festival (Clinton, NJ and the Mercury Lounge in NYC); Glen Island Harbor Club (New Rochelle); Charity Concert for Hunterdon County Woman’s Crisis Center (Trenton New Jersey); The Easton State Theater (Easton, PA); NJPAC; House of Blues (Cambridge, MA); The Wetlands (NYC); and the YMCA CD project. In addition we also performs at weddings, birthdays and office parties .Having been greatly rewarded by all of these individual accomplishments, AMICOH’s members now look forward to their new journey with Anthony Morgan’s Inspirational Choir of Harlem.
