Chris Cassaday

Best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of The Cassaday Concoction, Chris Cassaday was a solo artist for years before the Concoction got together.

Raised in Great Falls, Virginia, Chris received his first guitar at age 14 and slowly honed his songwriting skills over the next several years, finding his niche writing acoustic based soul and blues ballads with heavy-hitting lyrics.

Chris released two solo records before The Cassaday Concoction was formed, The Savannah Sessions, and Stranger Places were released in 2015 and 2017 respectively. After several single and EP releases over the next few years, Chris and his band The Cassaday Concoction released their debut album I Need To Be on September 9th, 2022.

The Cassaday Concoction, comprised of Chris, lead guitarist Brian Gerrard, bassist Dom Ryan, and drummer Adam Bush, have proven quickly that they are must-see performers, and have performed live for countless audiences all up and down the east coast of the US.

Chris will still go off on his own from time to time to get back to his acoustic roots with the some solo performances and the release of a solo track (most recently The Life), but the Concoction is his outlet for his heavier, more hard-rock based songs.

Chris's unique blend of genres, his exhilarating live performances, and his thunderous and distinctive voice have gathered him a significant following. The sky is the limit for this Washington, DC based singer-songwriter.
