About The Live Wire
The Live Wire are a rock band with a strong repertoire of material ranging from pop to funk and psychedelic. Formed in Crayford in 2015 with the initial intention of being a cover band, they started composing originals instinctively and are currently working on their debut EP for release in late 2016.
The group focus on songs with a raw and authentic vibe, largely influenced by classic rock, while constantly pushing boundaries with unconventional ideas and utilising old and new technology; serving an antithesis of the bland, formulaic indie acts dominating the live scene.
The group are currently booking dates to build a following, and can cater both for lineups who showcase original songs, or functions/parties with their wide repertoire of up to two hours of cover material, ranging from the conventional 'party pleasers' to the most unexpected guilty pleasures.
The Live Wire are already creating a buzz around the local area, for their musical spontaneity, quality songwriting and their combined exceptional talents.
