Matt Rhodes

Matt Rhodes is an Upstate New York-based singer/songwriter. His music can be described as an attempt to synthesize the sounds of The Rolling Stones, The Byrds and Neil Diamond. His songs veer from straight-ahead jangle-pop (It’s too late), Gram Parsons-esque country rock (“(All by My) Stoney Lonesome”), and classic pop (“To Meet My Kingdom Come”). Rhodes started his career as the singer/alternate guitarist/bassist in groove-rock outfit The Derelict Brew in the late 1990s-early 2000s before moving on to co-lead the Boston-based ‘60s pop/soul group The Silver Lining with his late wife, singer Anna Price. After an extended hiatus, he has returned to bring his unique and highly tuneful take on the golden era of Rock back to the stage.
