About Roger Van Lunteren

RVL got fully infected by the acid virus back in 1988 and produces music since the early nineties. Staying under the radar for quite some years he released his debut album „tmæins“ on the infamous Heimelektro Ulm imprint in 1999. His track „Rainy Autumn Sunrise“ (from sublabel „duftplatten“) was included on Miss Kittin’s mix CD „Radio Caroline Vol. 1“ evolving to a solid underground club hit. But his world wide break through fell victim to some simple miscredited liner notes.

After a full blown hiatus Roger resurfaced in 2015 on Utrecht’s 030303 records with his critically acclaimed four-track EP „The Hills“. His track „Hills, I Want You“ caught the attention of none other than Running Back’s label boss Gerd Janson, who did a clever edit and perfectly incorporated it in his Fabric 89 mix plus contributed it to the #savefabric fundraiser compilation in 2016. After his remix for Miss Djax „The Fog“ (Djax 408) and his contribution to Amsterdam’s XXX compilation, Roger releases a new old album in the summer of 2017 on underground tape label Silhouette Tapes: „amblex“ a 63 minute ambient synth journey (recorded in one take December 1994).

He returned recently with his "Rosa Dos Ventos" EP to another fine label from Utrecht, "Something Happening, Somewhere" run by Nuno Dos Santos.

More to follow soon. Stay tuned.
