Shannon Book

Born and raised in the small town of Hazel Green, KY, I grew up with a great appreciation of music and have expressed that appreciation both vocally and by playing various musical instruments throughout my life.
Retired with seventeen years of service to the United States due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and traumatic brain injury (TBI) I've been working on a complete collection of original songs reflecting my time in combat, my injuries, and living with the aftermath of war. I hope my music will help to educate military families, civilians, as well as help to heal those that have shared in some of my experiences. I'm looking forward to helping make a difference in our world as veterans. Now it's time to write a new chapter in my story.
