Originally from Knoxville, TN, this Nashville native began his musical journey at age 11 when he got his first guitar. Fast forward eight years to his freshman year at the University Of Tennessee, he began to experiment with electronic music production under the name Boss Awesome. He quickly established himself as a heavy-hitter in the Knoxville electronic community. After making a name for himself in the local scene, he was ready for something bigger. He was ready to take on Music City. It was after moving to Nashville that he changed his name from Boss Awesome to Cosmic Coast. According to The Untz, Cosmic Coast is a "one man jamtronica band. Absolutely incredible." Edwards has had the pleasure of being billed with artists such as Lotus, Papadosio, Zoogma, The Polish Ambassador, Boombox, RJD2, D.V.S*, The Motet, Moon Taxi, Turbo Suit, The Werks, The Floozies, and more at venues and festivals across the southeast.
