I love the new album! He started out the show with a set from “Gold in a Brass Age”. Then took it up a notch with a long run of older hits. For me, highlight was David’s solo acoustic set!
David Gray never disappoints. His voice was perfect and the set list was amazing!!! He opened with "Mallory" which is my favorite off of the new album he continued with a few more off "Gold in a Brass Age"...then he went on to belt out the classics. "Nemesis" His longest in the set was magical, he always goes off adding his beautiful extended addition. It was a perfect Birthday night that I didn't want to end. David Gray is like a fine wine getting better with age. The new album is so great,I can't stop listening to it. Thank you for another amazing concert David!!!!

Great mix of OLD and NEW songs, along with lots of his more popular tunes, had the crowd on their feet through to the end of the 2+ hour show. His 3 quieter solo songs in the middle were a nice surprise as well. Anytime you can get to see David Gray live you should take advantage of it. The Met Philadelphia was an awesome new venue-check it out if you have a chance. Please come back again soon - and often - David Gray. We’ll be here waiting. In the meantime get yourselves his ‘Gold in a Brass Age’ which is now also available in an acoustic version, and get familiar with all his new music. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!!

David Gray & his current band were on fire last night at The Philly Met!! I always enjoy seeing him live & 5/31/19 was no different. A good selection of songs from the latest release, “Gold in a Brass Age” were played; as well as songs from many of his other albums. The most surprising & delightful part of the show was the 2-3 songs David played solo. So intimate & very special. I will continue to see David Gray whenever the opportunity arises!!

The new album is very mellow and I don’t think most of the crowd enjoyed it. Based on previous set lists, David changed things up and played all of his older hits, which the crowd loved. The band was incredibly good and the show had such great energy.

David Gray is a phenomenal artist. His musicianship is stellar, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to see him. Can't get him out of ny head today, reliving the experience from last night.
