Ditch Digger is a Portland, Oregon groove metal band featuring: Ian Boynton: vocals Josh "Stone" Tipton: Guitars Mike Townsend: Drums Dr. Ivar Forkbeard: Bass Aaron Peterson: Guitars Ditch Digger was born in the summer of 2008, as a side project for members of Portland's hard core band Proven and a local music promoter. After releasing the single "Begin" in '08, and playing a few shows, the response for the band grew and so did the love of the music that was being written. With a demand from fans (from the states to Germany) the band hit the studio, with producer Corey Parkison, to record four tracks. Begin, Scream No More, Gag The Dog, and Lucky Day. All of them released on Reverbnation as free downloads in 2012 (Staying true to their "Do it yourself" attitude). The band prides themselves on their energetic, heavy, loud, live shows, and the fact that they stand out from the rest. Ditch Digger welcomes you all to take a chance and discover what you have been missing out on. With their exciting live shows and open book song writing, they make a promise that you will not be disappointed!
