Final Thought

Worst Enemy (Ex-Final Thought) are an alternative metal, hard rock quartet based in Brisbane who are steadily winning devotees with their tight, interlocking grooves backed by chunky, hard-hitting rhythms. Rising from the ashes of previous incarnations, the current line-up is inspired by a range of influences as diverse as Disturbed, The Offspring, Nirvana, Mötley Crüe, Fear Factory, Black Sabbath, Limp Bizkit, and Pearl Jam. Plus a bit of Men At Work thrown in as an unexpected bonus… Originally formed in 2006, Final Thought has been a collaborative effort over the years, but has now locked on to a winning formula in their present manifestation. Guitarist Chris hails from the southern suburbs of Brisbane and cites Limp Bizkit, The Deftones, Karnivool, The Offspring, The Butterfly Effect, plus many more as his inspiration for his infectious guitar hooks and hypnotic effects. His intricate grooves expertly overlay the heavy rhythms and embed deeply in your mind long after the track is over. Melbourne-born bassist Rob is the newest addition to Final Thought and his deep, rhythmic bass expertly compliments the melodies. Rob grew up listening to Mötley Crüe, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Kiss and Faith No More, and now enjoys the sounds of System of a Down, Sixx:A.M. and Papa Roach. Driving the grooves is drummer Rhett, from Brisbane, who mixes things up by bringing some funk elements to the metal genre. With influences like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Bobaflex, Rage Against The Machine, Infectious Grooves, Pearl Jam and Disturbed you can expect a steadfast foundation to the tracks.
